"Really solid course content compared to others"
I’ve been using codecademy for a few months now, and the course content has been really good. Compared to a few other coding platforms I’ve tried, the lessons feel more straightforward and less overwhelming, which makes it easier to actually stick with it.

I also like that you get to practice pretty much right away instead of just reading through a bunch of theory. Some sections could use a few more examples, but overall I’ve learned a lot and felt way less lost than I have with some competitors.

"I’ve been using codecademy for a few..."
I’ve been using codecademy for a few months now, my gut feeling is that it’s solid. The lessons load fast, the editor opens without much waiting, and my progress has saved like it’s supposed to. I haven’t really had issues with getting kicked out or losing work, which is a big deal for me. There have been a couple moments where it felt a little slow, but nothing that made me stop or get frustrated. Overall, it just works when I sit down to learn, and that’s exactly what I was hoping for.

"Lots of courses, maybe almost too many"
I was happy with how many courses they offer, honestly. There’s web development, data, AI, and a bunch of other stuff, so I kept checking out different topics and second-guessing what I wanted to focus on. But it was easy to jump around, which made it less stressful

"A Better Way for Me to Learn Coding"
I’ve tried learning to code from videos and articles before, but Codecademy worked better for me because I wasn’t just sitting there reading or watching. I actually had to type the code, make mistakes, and fix them right away. That made the basics click a lot more, especially when I was getting stuck on simple stuff.

"Pretty solid deal for the price"
I’ve been happy with this subscription so far. The price feels fair for how many courses are included, and I actually find myself using it often. If you’re looking to learn a few new things without spending a ton, I’d say it’s worth checking out.

"i used codecademy for a few..."
i used codecademy for a few months, and the billing was really easy to deal with. the charges came through when i expected them to, and i never noticed any random fees or confusing surprises.

when it was time to cancel, i figured it might be annoying, but it was actually super quick. i found the option in my account without digging around too much, and the confirmation email showed up right away.

that kind of simple experience definitely made me trust them more. everything felt straightforward and fair, so i’d give it 5 stars

"Pretty good overall, just a bit clunky sometimes"
I’ve been using Codecademy and the lessons are solid. It’s a nice way to learn without feeling too overwhelming. That said, the site can be a little frustrating at times. The editor freezes here and there, the navigation isn’t always super clear, and I sometimes have to poke around to figure out where I left off. Not a dealbreaker, but it could definitely be smoother

"Perfect for Anyone Just Starting Out"
I’m a total beginner and this was super easy to follow. Usually these kinds of things feel scary or way too complicated for everyone, but this one made it simple and not intimidating at all.

"Helpful, but the directions can get muddy"
Codecademy has been good for picking up the basics, but I ran into a few lessons where the instructions were harder to follow than they needed to be. I had to reread the same steps a couple times and kind of guess what they were asking for. Based on that, I’d say it’s one of those platforms that works well overall, but it can feel frustrating when they move too quickly or assume you already know what they mean.

"Super easy way to get into coding"
Codecademy has been a really easy way for me to start learning coding. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I like that I can write the code right inside the lesson instead of bouncing between tabs or setting up a bunch of stuff first.

Some lessons do move a little quickly, but the hints usually get me unstuck. It feels way more interactive than just sitting through videos, which helps me stay interested. So far, I’m happy with it.

"I’ve really been enjoying Codecademy because the..."
I’ve really been enjoying Codecademy because the learning paths feel structured in a way that makes sense. It doesn’t just throw random lessons at you, it clearly shows what to do next and keeps everything in a logical order. After work, when my brain is already a bit tired, that makes a huge difference. I can just log in, follow the next step, and keep making progress without overthinking it

"Support was, like, a little slow"
They did get back to me, so, you know, that was good, but it just took a bit longer than I was expecting. Not a huge deal or anything, just kind of slower than I hoped.

I liked the projects, they felt practical and connected to the kind of stuff I deal with at work. Nothing felt too random or like busywork.
Codecademy Q&A

Today, all of my past work suddenly disappeared. your website was unhelpful. can you help?

Is there a 1800 number i have lost all my progress. i have asked questions and emails over the span of one business week. no one has been able to help me

I really like that a lot of the lessons are free. but the site is slow. and when i click on q & a, i get an error. does this all work better if you pay? i'm not inclined to spend money on it like this.
